DON SEVILLA
Born and raised in Malabon City, Philippines, Don Sevilla (Chickboy) grew up surrounded by the rich flavors of Filipino cuisine. His love for cooking and serving was deeply inspired by his parents and their passion for the kitchen. After migrating to the U.S. with his family, Don worked his way up the corporate ladder, from dishwasher to general manager of restaurant chains, gaining more than 20 years of experience while navigating the ins and outs of the food industry.
In 2018, he decided to use his skills and talents to begin his journey and fulfill his lifelong dream of one day opening his own restaurant. Fast forward to today, after years of relentless hard work and determination, along with the continuous support of his loving wife, family, friends, and community, he has turned that dream into a reality. What started as a makeshift kitchen inside a tiny home garage has evolved into a full-service catering and restaurant business in the DMV—Chickboy’s.
